With this off my to do list, I certainly feel confident with the project, even my writing progress is recently behind the shedule.... far far behind. OTL

For those who still don't know about the story behind this, I will give you a very short explaination of the main topic. Yet I want to let you know that the novel is planed to become a collection of 3 books, so don't worry about confusion. There might be some details that resolve each other further on in the story.
So what you have to know:

The story is set in the early 19th century in Prussia.
Lucretia is a foundling, discovered by a novice named Ophelia who, as she took the child into her arms, had a vision of the angel Metatron who ordered her to take care of the girl and raise her like a mother would do. As people discovered that the child was protected by angels, it was considered a miracle being. Soon rumors about her having magical powers spread and which made society believe that she could cure diseases and bring good fortune. However, this was not the case, but many succumbed to fascination, which soon turned into obsession. Dark forces used the corrupted hearts to spread chaos and thus brought the girl into great danger. After the child disappeared like she never existed, her story has been forgotten and had soon become a myth.
But Lucretia had not disappeared, they simply moved to the countryside where she could grow up unharmed. However, soon the day came on which they had to return to her hometown. At this moment, the city was occupied by the French army of Napoleon and the darkness which had already threatened her life as an infant, had been waiting all these years for her return. However, among the evil there was only one sinister creature able to surpass all the others. On a mission to make the child fall into the arms of hell, he worked on a mischievous plan to steal the child away from her mother's guidance. Though he only used very simple techniques to gain the girl's trust at the beginning, he soon has to discover that it will take much more to obtain her soul as well. The two seemed to be the most unsuitable couple possible, simply for how different the two characters used to be. But maybe because they didn't seem to get along too well, non of them could possibly miss the other. Childish plays, dirty tricks and all sacrifices of the world hardly change the young girl's heart, but all her kindness and unconditional love for that rough stranger could possibly make him pull up all the hidden aces in his sleaves.
So it's a love story, tiny bit of educational, but a love story afterall. It will mostly show how the two main characters interact with each other, while the scenary around them makes it either easier or harder for Mephistopheles to drag Lucretia closer to his side. I am actually trying to use as many good historical references as possible, but overall it's a fantasy realm. Non the less I am STILL doing researches to make Gratia at least a tiny bit less fantasy stuffed. xDD
